I was blog hopping and saw a link to the Joanna Sheen website... and thought I would have a look.... won't hurt will it.... see what I like and drool... (shakes head)
I didn't just drool.... My finger kept clicking and things were jumping into the basket... ( how did that happen)
Then would you believe... I look up and all my info is on the buy now page.... there was a Millisecond when I thought no Claire... (rolls eyes while sighing)... but again the finger clicked confirm...
YAY
I have new toys coming soon...lol...
I must confess, I did only order embossing folders (this time), next time (when Paul is at work, and not watching me) I will order stamps, flowers and lots lots more.... ooo I was drooling...(and have a list in my head of what I am going to get)
So I am now on Postman watch..
although I sort of am anyway,
I won a prize on Make It Monday a few weeks back, and there posting it... should be here really...but someone may have pinched me postman again !!! the Portuguese are just so not nice when it comes to sharing the postman
How dare they come between me and my crafting... !!
Onto the card I was on here to post...
It is for the
Make it Monday Challenge - Anything Goes
I made this card for a friend who is moving into a new house. her move date is 23 June
so I have to get the card posted just at the right time... (easier said than done)
Here is the front... I used a die to cut all the shapes out, just one problem, the die is one solid die, so for each colour I want I have to put it through my machine, thus having lots of sets in all different colours... the die is from Scrapping Cottage it is called Bird and Birdhouse...
(bit obvious that one eh)
The backing paper at the bottom I embossed with sand paper.... it gives it a rough affect, and the top paper is done with my chicken wire...

Again I used my chicken wire to emboss the insert... I then cut slots down one side, every other diamond and slotted matching ribbon through
Here is a closer picture
And there you have my card...
Sorry if this post has taken a while to read, maybe I should have told you to grab a cup of tea. !!!
Which is were I am now going.
Thanks for stopping by xx
