And yes I am here and yes I have a desk to show...
How exciting..although it isn't really MY desk..
I am still taking over Paul's mums. but she doesn't mind
I am crafting for her...
here is the desk as of Christmas Eve (the dining table)
Yes it was rather messy... not MY desk... I was just trying to help with the making up of cards
anyway it was all cleared just in time for christmas dinner...lol
But this week here is MY desk...
I have one in the bedroom, so I can hide away for the odd half an hour
although not hidden as yet
Yes it's a bit of a mess as well... last night I decided I was going to sort some flowers ready
But then ended up doing something else...yes I just left them there...
the wall paper is one I like for when we get the new place...but
I then got to thinking it would look nice as backing paper on a card!!!!
the white bag has my new pens in..still in their packets not used
and the folders contain made cards..waiting for someone to send them too..
oh and I also have a few things out ready to add to my blog candy..
Which I will be posting later on today once I have a picture
Thats it for me
Time to take Hannah to school so will catch up with the rest of you later on
Thanks for stopping by xx

Nice to see that you're home Clare, even if you're not quite "home" if you know what I mean! I've used bits of wallpaper for cards before, and wrapping paper and fabric samples too! Have a great New Year.

You got the table cleaned up in time for dinner? That is great! Personally, I would have suggested going out to eat instead of picking up.
I understand the plans to do something (like sort flowers) and getting distracting by something else! It happens to me all the time. It is a wonder I complete anything.
Isn't it funny how we get sidetracked? I do that all. the. time! How nice to have a mother-in-law that enjoys crafting with you.

Lots of activity on that dining table on Christmas Eve - glad it got cleared away in time. Yes, the wallpaper would look good on a card - I used a piece of wallpaper sample on a card a couple of days ago (Hazel, WOYWW 108) x
Looks like your desk is a place to have lots of fun!!! What kind of new pens did you get? I just purchased 3 of the atyou spica glitter pens, haven't used those yet either!!
A great first crafty peek of the year. I can't believe you had that table cleared in time for the figgy pudding!! Happy new year!

Welcome back! Well done - and do you know what, that table on Christmas Eve would have been causing me stress, and I'm pretty stress less generally!! Good idea to have a desk in the bedroom too, sharing arouse, however marvellous your in laws, doesn't give a lot of space. Good luck with thenew place!
Looks like you have a good space to keep you going for the time being - enjoy your crafting.

Its great that your mother in law likes to craft and lets you use the dining room table. My mom hated when I used the dining room table...probably because I would get sidetracked and just leave everything sitting there waiting for me to get back!

looks as though there are a lot of things just waiting to be jumped into on that desk... happy woyww...xx
Hello my first visit to your blog. My dining table looked a lot like that at Christmas - fortunately I was not at home Christmas Day. Thanks for sharing Happy New Year. Anne x
