Well I have not been on here for a while again... I should really make more time...
I got really excited when the Portuguese postman rang the gate bell, and I could see he had a rather large envelope in hand.... YES YES YES..
Colin The Car template... Ten second later and it is out the envelope..
So an hour later I had the template carefully cut out and had chosen yellow as a starter car,
I then began transferring onto the yellow card and cutting out with a sharp craft knife, I had seen this on another blog and read about the wheels, so decided to make then chunkier, by cutting a 2cm wide piece of card and then spending quiet a lot of time glueing between two black wheel templates, but they look so much better.
Colin is fairly easy to make once you work out the correct way in which things fold, and I am Planning on making more, with more detail added. Hope you like my first attempt at Colin.
I bought the template from Arty Farty Craft.

Babble Time
Hello again.... the weather over here is still Rain... but I have been busy getting lots of things ready for making some cards...and not keeping up with my Blog... I have put a couple of hours aside tomorrow, and will take some pictures of the different stages for a couple of the cards I am going to make for Christmas. Hopefully this will be interesting to you, and maybe give you a couple of idea's... if you do have any questions just send me a mail using the link on my profile.
Decoupage and sewing
This card I made for our Portuguese Teacher, Just to say thank you for all the hard work she has done.
It is a 20cm square card, I added a navy blue backing card to match with the embroidery, The sewing I did on 160g paper. After sewing the pattern and trimming to size I attached the decoupage Mandala using 2mm sticky pads, The embroidery pattern came froma Voorbeeldkaarten book, I just added the mandala instead of the Decoupage they used.

Princess
This card I made for my Daughter's best friends 8th Birthday.
My daughter came home from school on the Friday and told me she would be going to the party on sat afternoon !! Basic quick card needed. A4 card folded in half, with a princess backing paper, then a decoupage topper of Princess's on top, I added a little sparkle by placing glue and glitter along the lines of Cinderella's dress.Although this did take longer than I thought it would, but I was pleased with the results. Then some peel off's to frame the topper.
The little girl that received the card LOVED it so much... it is now in a frame and on her bedroom wall.

First Real entry.
Hello there, well the weather over here in Portugal is not at all nice, raining, thunder and lightning, but on a plus side it is the perfect weather for me to be hid away in my card making room.
Then I got this crazy idea, why not make a blog and show off the cards, while hopefully helping others by maybe giving some ideas, or even helpful tips. So here goes.
