How can this Ghost be Spooky

over at Sew Many Challenges

 they have given away a free digi

called "Fall Ghost" for you to make something with.

Hannah made hers on Friday and I entered her into the Challenge

I am showing mine today

here it is

How cute are they !!

I used white card blank not sure what size now

 then cut two black panels

I then layered them with Bright Orange card

I coloured the Ghosts slightly round the edges and did a little shading

not sure if you can see on the foto though

I then did their patches to match with the card.

The spiders are peels off's that I have had in my stash for years !!!

The sentiment is hand written.

I am also entering it into

They did a new release daily hop, all last week

and I have won on two of the days..
So I recieve the digi's they used
And they are so cute!!
 so I now have three more Digi images 

that I can print out and play with... 

Must remember the extras to go into the UK folder !!

Is your Sunday...

A day of rest... Or is it hectic like mine...

Be honest do you with you could just chill all day

Or do you like it busy busy !!!!

I often think I will relax with Paul...

but no

Today we have painted the front gate...

(even though we move out in 3 months)

 and I have to say looks so much better

then I have done some general cleaning

Made Stew for tea..which smells lovely

it is in the oven slow cooking,

Dumplings to pop on the top half hour before.

(the last box of Atora Suet used up then)

I have cards made and ready to show, 

although I am in the living room not at the PC,

so they will have to wait until either later

when I can sneak into the craft room

or tomorrow when I once again sneak in 

lock the door and be in my little place I call...Quiet

on my own doing what I love doing best

playing with anything related to paper and card.

I know just how this little water melon feels

this is me when I cant get in my craft room...lol

I am going to quietly sneak away and get some 

paper to play with while Paul and Hannah play on the PS3.

Halloween..

While I have been making the Homework book for Hannah

Hannah has been making something Halloween

Over at Sew Many Challenges

they are giving you an image Fall ghost to make a project with

I printed nine and coloured six.. so Hannah asked if she could make something

I thought Why not..

So I was working one end of the desk

and Hannah on the rest...lol

this is what she has made

and it is rather cute

A bag for a few Sweets..

She found some bright orange card in my stash

( I didn't even know I had this)

and made the cone.

Then she attached the Ghosts  

and peel off spiders.

It isn't very strong but I think she has done well

Even down to the picture taking.

I am not sure if I am allowed to enter her into the competition

but I am doing... (fingers crossed its ok)

If I shouldn't then I am sorry

I will be making something spooky later also

School Book for Hannah...

Well it is the second stage of

CDAC Progressive Freebie Challenges

I recieved my Digi's yesterday so today I have my First entry

The theme set is Back To School

So I have made Hannah a homework notebook

So she can write down what homework she has

It will no doubt stay empty..lol

The image I have used is by

Here is what I made

I started with a plain lined book and took the cover off

I then made a new cover with card

and covered it with paper

then after a little bit of cutting and layering 

I ended up with

I also put a small envo - pocket on the back

so Hannah can put letters from school in it

Hannah really likes it and wants it NOW

But I have put it away ready for school.

Anyway time to go again

Hannah is making a Halloween cone for another challenge

and is wanting my help
