Vintage..

Afternoon blog land friends
I have a card to show.. no surprise there really
Is it raining where you are?
It's so so horrible over here.. not stopped since last night
I have Paul working from home again today..
So I am on the small end of the PC table
Not comfy at all..
I don't even have the chair to myself..!!
Tasmin is sat behind me.. I know I should move her
but she is keeping my back warm even though its not comfy
onto my card
This is the first time I have tried to make a card with a Vintage feel to it
Not 100% sure that I have succeeded.
the image I used is Victorian Christmas Kellita
I decided to colour my image in grey first
then I added some mustard colour for highlights..
This actually took longer than if I colour her in completely
And I am not sure I have the shading right !!
I think it needs a little more mustard colour !!
here is my finished card
I am sorry about the pictures..
the weather doesn't help with lighting
 An easel card once again
The papers are from Summer Driggs

I printed out the base colour
then it went through the printer again
to add the frame
I also altered the sentiment slightly too.
once I had layered my papers I then added the lace trim
and my two layer flowers
then Kellita went over the top
in the top corner are some gems type things !!
sorry but they don't have a name
the same gem's on the base..
along with a larger flower that is layered
and a handmade middle
the stopper is just extra paper layered
with double bow attached..
I hope this has a vintage feel to it !!
I am entering this into

and also the following
One Stitch at a Time - Use a digi
My Kellita is digi form not Rubber
Digidesign Challenge - Ribbons and bows
Catch the Bug - Anything Goes

Thanks for stopping by hope you enjoyed xx

She's lovely, and I must admit I find Vintage hard to do, unless I am really (what I consider to be) heavy handed , then it turns out ok, but not enough heavy handed ness, and mine turn out all wishywashy!! So I do know how hard it is to do, but I think you did just right!!
