1.2.4..

Yes it is Wednesday..
the nosy time of the week
we don't just see desk's
we also see projects in the making
how your asking !!!
Over at ms Dunnit's blog for WOYWW
hop over and have a look
Now those that follow me
and pop over regular
will know I am moving in December
back to the UK
So I decided in my ultimate wisdom
to pack a few things..
Yes to pack you need to get everything in one place
Well I got as much as possible onto the desk..
leaving the unit drawers for later

And here is the result...
I managed to squeeze most of it into my machine box at the bottom
the other 4 are full of card, paper and printed images
ready to colour with my new pens that are waiting for me in the UK
I just have one problem now.. I have to get them 4 boxes
into the big brown box!!
oh and not forgetting these boxes and bag

Which are stuffed full of cards that I have made !!
Am sure I will manage it somehow
So this is my desk this morning
the tubs on the shelf
are going with the removal company
the drawer unit is empty(ish)
I just need to get my ribbons in somehow
so there you have it
My messy desk and packing
Obviously I wont be making many cards
from now until we leave in six weeks time
but then again it will unpack again!!
in Paul's words
"if it keeps you happy unpack and make cards"
Time will tell on that one
oh and not forgetting
My little Tasmin
Thanks for stopping by and enjoy your Wednesday
xx

Will Tasmin have to go into quarantine? I hope not - and I wish you all the luck in the world with your packing - not something I would like to have to do. Hope you are ready for the cold of the UK again. Thanks for sharing and your comment - Neet x

Me again - thought Tasmin was a lab until I scrolled down just now and saw a full picture. So glad there is no confinement but now am intrigued with Hector. How will he go on for travel?
BTW are you going north or south of the UK?

It's tough packing when stuff has to be shipped ahead!!! Then you think you can do without something for a while and relise that in fact NO you can't...but by then it's usually too late or it means unpacking something again!!! LOL
Good luck

i usually pack ten minutes before I leave using the spade and truck technique...on occasion I have just upped sticks and left everything except the kids (distressing but liberating)

hope your move goes the way you want it to....

I do not envy you the packing.
I hope your new space will be bigger and better than the last.
Make up a few kits, just to tide you over, cold turkey is not the nicest way to live.
Keep smiling and creating

I don't think I could do 6 weeks without my "stuff". I say pack other things and keep crafting until the last minute.

Glad to hear your lovely pups do not have to go into quarantine. Hope they do not get too fed up on the journey, and settle in well back over here. The best of luck with your move.

Hope your move all goes to plane. The large monkey on my side bar is Norm. We adopted him back in June to keep little monkey out of mischief. Hasn't worked so far though!!! Hugs Mrs A & Two Monkeys

Paul's right - you might need card making as a sanity saver! Still, you've got plenty to do. Is it all coming home in a big old container then? Gosh, six weeks isn't long..where are you going to settle?

Not long hun, but I would leave some kits out for sanity's sake. The move should go nice and smoothly, and it shouldn't be long before you're straight and crafting again
