Using up bits and bobs

Well I have finally started to pack away my craft things..
I really really don't want to.. it keeps me happy
knowing I can craft.. but I have to be organised
Did I tell you I was moving back to the UK in December
Excited.. Craft shops, and people who speak a language I can understand
anyway
I have had to start, we did a dummy run of things that will fit into the boot
mmm doesn't look to good.. the dog cages are bigger than we thought they was going to be
Damm the ferry company for wanting them in cages in car!!
so I have to limit what I can take
I have two rather slim boxes.. and that's it
More important things have to be squeezed into spaces..like clothes.
(even though I have a plan to buy more once over in the Uk, need to catch up with the fashion over there lol)
And the fact that Pickford's packs and moves us three days before we leave so we still have bedding to get into the car..
And we are stopping with Paul's mum until we find somewhere to live
so what goes in the car is what we have
The rest will be stored with Pickfords
so clothes are more important
The fact Paul's mum is a crafter and has been for 20 years plus so it isn't like I wont have anything to play with
( I am secretly excited about playing in her craft room)
Now my theory was to throw the bedding so I had more room,
but when I thought about it...
a Duvet costs about 100 pounds for a decent one
then there is the quilt set!!
and think what craft things I could buy for that !!!
So I am grumpily packing :(
But on a nicer note I have a card to show
that's if your still reading..lol
I found some scraps so made this
If you lift the flap at the front you see
The little peg is just there to hold it up..lol
Am sure he will like this card
even though his birthday isn't until June next year..
Am thinking ahead..lol
I am entering this into the following
One stitch at a time - Anything Goes
Make it Monday -  Anything Goes

That's it for me
I am finally going of to make the card using my Pink papers
so you may hear from me later
if not it will be tomorrow
thanks for listening to me moaning

LOL. Loved your post. It just goes to show that no matter where you are in the world, every crafter who has to move, is measuring the glove compartment box of the car to see just how many supplies they can fit into it!
Your card is wonderful and I love that you just made that out of some scraps. Nice work!! Looks wonderful and I'm sure he'll love it.
Good luck with the move and fun in the mom-in-laws craft room. :D

Thank you for playing along with us at Make It Monday!

Fabulous card Claire!!! To answer your question on the spectrum noir pens - they will be doing them shortly but I think stock isn't expected till the end of november!

I would pack my bedding and use sleeping bags for the next 3 days, at least they roll away small...and what about a roof rack, could store lots of craft up there...fabulous card Hun! mmm...chocolates.Love the sentiment..

Chrissy beat me to the comment about sleeping bags. Roof-rack would give loads of space (unless you already have one and are going to fill it with other stuff).

Great card and good on you using up some scraps.
